Freedive Workshop — Sponsored by Water Safety NZ

Set yourself up for summer. A full freedive workshop with spearfishing, hunting and gathering specialists, sponsored by Water Safety New Zealand.

Koha (pay what you can) until midnight Sunday 11 October. From Monday 12 October the workshop is $50.

• Morning: breathwork, confined-water skills and buddy rescue.
• Afternoon: shore safety, ocean freediving to 10–15 m and safe kaimoana gathering.
• To finish: catch, cook and a feed together.

Dates: Saturday 31 October (Matauri Bay), Saturday 7 November, Saturday 21 November (Tutukaka). We'll be in touch to confirm your date.

Complete the workshop and you can apply for a Spearfishing Charter Day ($150, 4–5 places).

Rule #1: never dive alone. Bring your buddy, your partner, your kids. Each person books their own spot.
